Thank you so much, everyone, for your wonderful birthday wishes! Hope they will come true.
Seriously, why people I have never watched (not to mention I don't even know who they are) send me notes about them changing dA accounts and asking to "re-watch" them anew. It's a very poor PR move, and I've been receiving a lot of these notes recently. Is it a new habit in self-promotion or something? Don't remember anything like that (and in such numbers) even a year ago.
  • Playing: SW:TOR
Thank you everyone for all the kind words and inspiration! I'm not able to answer every comment, but I want you to know that I'm very grateful for each of them.
  • Listening to: Leonard Cohen - Waiting For The Miracle
I found one of my very first drawings. "Paper, pencil, Photoshop 4.0, Painter 5.5"? Colored with mouse!? Hell yeah. Now I'm planning to do a "Before/After" meme, just for fun. :)
  • Listening to: Jack Wall and Sam Hulick -- Form the Wreckage
Thank you kindly, everyone, for so many wonderful birthday greetings and wishes! I feel loved.

I want to share something. In recent years I have received many amazing gifts from friends.

:iconryumo: has a keen sense of how to mix traditional media with CG for the best results. Love her and her style.

And this is my recent birthday treasure: [link]
The artist is :iconkawaikolin:, and this is the most cutest incarnation I've ever had. :3

P.S. Someone just gave me a Premium Membership. I don't know your name, but thank you so much!

Will be gone for two weeks vacation.
Maybe will draw something nice with traditional media for a change. :)
  • Listening to: Jack Wall and Sam Hulick - M4 Part 2 (Faunts)
Black hot coffee, quiet music. The dog is snoring gently behind my back (on my bed, actually). Am feeling really good right now. *yaaawn*
Hope everyone is feeling good, too. :)

  • Drinking: Coffee
You ask someone politely why is he posting other artists' works (like Randis Albion's and Jason Chan's, lol) in his gallery claiming them his own, and what have you got in return? You've got a ban from the thief's accaunt (my first ban, yay!) and your comment has disappeared. No words, no explanations. It was for the first time when I tried to understand thief's motives, but it turned out this way. Probably a good lesson for the stupid idealist like me - never try to reason with amoral person, leave any hope already.
Got it.
  • Drinking: Coffee
Thank you so much, everyone, for so many birthday greetings! You make me very happy.

Tadaima!
Want to go back already. It was too good to be truth.
  • Listening to: Jack Wall - Reflections
Yay! I'm off to Tokyo for two weeks vacation. Will be hanging out with my closest friends. We are even going to spend the night at the hot springs of Hakone: 4 girls and 4 guys - it should be fun, because we girls are planning to enjoy this night drinking sake, telling ghost stories and fighting with pillows (or whatever soft we will be able to find). And guys will be not allowed! *evil laugh*
Well, I probably won't be able to check my mail often, but not to worry – I will answer as soon as I get back home.
  • Listening to: Kwoon - I Lived on the Moon
I made a wallpaper from my "Victorian fox" – very simple one though. If you're interested, you can find it here [link] Please click on the pixel icons in the right column.
I hope you enjoy it!

Thank you everyone who keep watching my artworks, for all your comments and favs. I’m really happy that "Wonderland" is accepted so positively.

There's one question that's being asked by lots of people recently: what is LAMP art-group, how many artists are actually in the group, and why all the latest works are signed by Eva Soulu only. It's more than one question actually, but we'll try to answer all in one shot. Here goes...
LAMP is a group of three artists from Russia: Eva Soulu, Nekosch, and Valery Korneev. Initially, all three of us were actively drawing and posting here. But later on Nekosch and Valery Korneev became more involved into other things (like advertising, magazine publishing and design). And now only Eva is the one standing for drawing.
We are not sure that things gonna be this way forever, but currently this account belongs solely to Eva Soulu.

Eva Soulu: As you see, I just used coup d'etat to grab the throne! :evillaugh:
  • Listening to: Yoko Shimomura ~ Destiny's Force
Somebody *named himself / or herself my name* has started posting my artworks on DA. I thought I’m kind of used to it already but I was wrong. It’s still hurts to see such a thing.

Eva Soulu
Thank you everyone for following my updates and for all the kind words!
There are way too many comments for me to answer each of them, but all of those are important and such an inspiration.
Also, thanks to those who made my work a DD, this is a great honour.
Please look forward for my new artworks!

(Eva Soulu)
Eva Soulu reports: I've opened a new section [link] on LAMP-site devoted to one of my personal projects – a comic named “Owls”.
Also, “Owls” had been exhibited at ComMissia 2004 (see a link on our site [link], the Russian comic festival. You can post your word there and vote, if you please (that can be done after seeing all four pages).
We’re an art-group making a living from our pursuits in the fields of art, design and photography.  Illustrations, posters, magazine and CD covers are what we do best.

We started out as an art-group back in 1999 and have been maintaining our web site since January, 2000. LAMP was founded by Eva Soulu and Nekosch, but in the course of two years our team list has changed several times  – and we’re quite satisfied with the current set-up. Current LAMP members are: Eva, Neko and Valery Korneev.

There was an incident involving our works here at deviantART - somebody started posting them without getting our permission. Now the problem is solved, the ripper's been punished by admins, and here we are ourselves. :)
