I totally agree with you. But what I was saying is that well not that anime is crap, anime is a beautiful art form, it is just that some people really ruined it and turned into something that is unnatural, impure and grotesque.

Well, anime-styled pictures are a worldwide mainstream now. Young teenagers in the mass (as the most active appreciators) do not care about quality or about the method of creation. So we can see a lot of pron pics traced from photos or just plainly traced screenshots. But. No one will remember these pictures ten years later because there is no art. Teens will grow up eventually, and new ones will crave for new idols. :)

So eh what art school did you go to in Russia? And How come your English is good? Do you like life drawing? Also besides drawing portraiture of people, do you also draw still life and mechanical, as for me I usually go through 3 phases in a year: first painting people, and then mechanical, and sometime landscape, right now I am stuck in the drawing mechanical phase, which means you are gonna see some drawings and paintings of tanks or vehicle coming out in the next few weeks. As you can see I used to be an anime lover, but over the years i lost interest, so I might sound kinda emotional in my post, I find lots of outside interest besides drawing anime, like American cartoon, computer animation ( I went to school for it) and doing comic books ect.

Well, I have to admit that I never attended to any art schools. I'm a self-taught artist. The same goes to learning English (mostly from books and movies).
Works in my gallery pretty much cover all of my favorite topics. I love neat designed vehicles and architecture, but I have a lot to learn about how to draw them myself.
Anime like any form of art has its own masterpieces and short-lived works. We should take what we like; no need to focus on some bishoujou's panties. :)
